Grayling High School

Athletes of the Week - Paige Vinyard-Sharp and Remi Bracken
Paige (JV volleyball) is one of our team captains and is an excellent leader on and off the court. She’s been such a versatile player for us, always up for whatever the team needs.
Remi (JV football) had a monster game vs. Kingsley, rushing for 317 yards and 4 TDs. He also had two receptions for 20 yards and one receiving TD. Remi not only leads on the field as a team captain, but he also leads in the weight room. Remi had 100% weight room attendance this summer.

Athletes of the Week - Marla Nothstine and Matthew Petitti
Grayling Cross Country freshman Marla Nothstine is proving that nothing can slow her down, not even losing a shoe! Known for letting her legs do the talking, she turned her latest race into a Cinderella story by running a personal best of 25:22 in just one sneaker. Determined, tough, and now officially the fastest “one-shoe wonder” in Beal City!
Grayling junior Matthew Petitti has been stacking miles like pancakes, and the results are sweet! He ran a personal best of 20:17 at the Aggie Invitational. His grit is unmatched, though we’re starting to wonder if his shoes are asking for a vacation day.

Athletes of the Week - Sophia LaGattuta and Wyatt Ault
Sophie has worked hard all summer, and so far this season, it has paid off. She’s off to a solid start to the season with 14th, 4th, and 21st place finishes. Against conference foes, she is in the top 10 individually.
Wyatt is having a great start to the season. He has played a lot of minutes so far and has 2 goals and 3 assists.
