ATHLETES OF THE WEEK Lahken Forbes (sideline cheer) and Preston Schenk (JV soccer) Lahken is a dedicated athlete who soaks up knowledge. She had a slow start to the season due to an injury, but as she regains strength, she proves to be a versatile cheerleader. Lahken is a gentle soul with endless respect for her team and coaches. We can't wait to see what this freshman does in the next three years. Preston scored a goal and had an assist in the team's 7-0 victory over Clare last week. Preston has played center mid for most of the season and has seen some time on the varsity team as well.

ATHLETES OF THE WEEK Kendra Allen (volleyball) and Myles Mead (football) Kendra has been working hard this season to improve her skills to go with her natural talent. She is versatile, playing both front and back row on the left side. Last week, against Elk Rapids, she had 4 aces, 7 kills and 1 assist. What stood out the most was her excellent defense with 6 digs. Congrats, Kendra! Myles was 11/15 and threw for 107 yards and 2 TDs against Escanaba. We run a very complex offensive system and Myles is our general!
