We kicked off the 4th-grade Junior Deputy program this week. Students heard from Dispatch and EMS/First Aid. The program will continue for four weeks, culminating with the Junior Deputy Rodeo in May. Thank you to our community partners for making this happen each year for our students.

Some of our 3rd-grade students enjoyed a trip to the Greenwood Foundation today. They learned about hibernation, torpor, adaptations, and so much more. They also enjoyed a snowshoeing walk!

Today, nine high school students came to the elementary school as part of the Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service. They read with students, ate lunch with them, and had some fun too! Watching our oldest learners interact with our youngest learners is so fun!

For the second year in a row, Grayling Elementary School has been designated as a Tree Campus K-12 for our work at our district's School Forest.
As part of the Arbor Day Foundation, Tree Campus K-12 recognizes schools that lead the way in tree stewardship. When you make trees part of your curriculum and your campus, you make your school a better place to learn and live.
