Applicants who complete the registration process by December 1 are eligible for reimbursement of fingerprinting costs*. This incentive is available for NEW substitutes only. Work as much as you want, and/or work in multiple areas (custodial, paraprofessional, food service, teaching, etc.). You can pick the buildings you work in. Work in some buildings or in all of them.

Part-time/flexible hours. $12.85/hour for hourly positions.  Teacher subs** earn $115/day for non-certified teachers, and $125 with active teacher certification or retirees. Teacher subs who work 10 days in the District are also eligible for a $125 monthly bonus. These opportunities often lead to full-time opportunities.

*Reimbursement will be processed after 10 days worked in a CASD building (teaching subs) or 80 hours worked (all other subs).

**To qualify as a substitute teacher, applicants must have completed at least 60 semester hours of college credit.
