CAEEF was created in 2015 to benefit the students, staff and schools of the Crawford AuSable School District. The board of directors set an initial goal of $1 million to raise and invest and then use interest generated for college scholarships for seniors and grants for projects and programs in pre-K-12th grade classrooms.
As of spring 2021, we have awarded $59,300 in scholarships and $13,200 in grants.
As of September 2021 -- through the generosity of alumni, former students and friends -- CAEEF hit our initial fundraising goal of $1 million! THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FOR YOUR GENEROSITY!
As of December 2022, the foundation had $1,221,556, so we have a start toward our second million dollars. You can help by making a gift of any size.
