The Crawford AuSable Excellence in Education Foundation was created in 2015 to raise and disburse funds for scholarships to students and grants for educational programs within the award-winning Crawford AuSable School District. Under the leadership of alumni and community supporters, CAEEF had raised nearly $368,000 as of fall 2017.
 
On Saturday, September 9, 2017, we celebrated these efforts with tours of the district’s three school buildings, a reception and dinner at Grayling High School for about 180 alumni, former students, friends and supporters of the school district, recognition of the 2017 Alumni Hall of Fame recipients and the presentation of the mural honoring AuSable River Canoe Marathon finishers from the CASD, followed by an after-party at Grayling County Club.
