Grayling Elementary School
At GES, we strive to provide a first-class educational experience to elementary children in grades K-4. There’s no doubt that the CASD's children are “Growing to Greatness!” And at Grayling Elementary School, we believe that “The Sprout Starts Here." We also know that "The Sprout" starts well before kindergarten. GES houses the community-based Grayling Cooperative Preschool-GSRP and a NEMSCA Head Start program. Learn More
GES named High Performing School in 2019 CAP report
Grayling Elementary School was named by the Mackinac Center for Public Policy as a high performing school in the 2019 Context and Performance Report Card.
The CAP report ranks over 2,000 public elementary and middle schools across Michigan. GES ranked in the 90th percentile and was given a grade of “A” in this year’s rankings.
“This recognition is a reflection of the efforts of our entire K-12 staff and the tremendous support we receive from our communities,” said Superintendent Justin Gluesing. “The successes at our elementary school are carried forward into middle and high school, each grade level building on the efforts of the prior year.”
