Dr. Alexzandra L. Mosel

Career Pathway: Health Sciences


Dr. Alexzandra L. Mosel was nominated by Charlotte and Terrence Bloomquist.

She graduated with a B.S. degree from the University of Michigan in 2011 with a major in movement science and a minor in biology. In 2015, she earned a DVM degree from the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University in Grafton, Massachusetts.

She then joined the VCA New London Animal Hospital staff in Waterford, Connecticut, as an associate veterinarian. Her areas of interest include surgery, behavior and shelter medicine.

In 2010-2011, she served as president of the Pre-Veterinary Club at U-M. From 2013 to 2015, she was president of the Tufts Student Chapter of the Animal Veterinary Medical Association (SCAVMA) president of TCSVM chapter of the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) and vice president of the national student leadership team of the AAHA.

Dr. Mosel lives in Groton, Connecticut, with her cat, Maizey Blue.
