Richard E. JosephDuring high school, Dick Joseph was a ski team member, class president and member of the National Honor Society.

After graduation, he attended the University of Michigan, where he earned a bachelor of arts degree in 1979. He earned a law degree from the Detroit College of Law in 1985 and then became a founding partner in Joseph, Corcoran & Telgenhof Law Firm in Charlevoix.

Mr. Joseph has very actively served his community -- as president of the Charlevoix Chamber of Commerce, an organizer in the East Jordan Downtown Development Corporation and a member of the Rotary and Lions Clubs. Also, throughout his career, he has been an active promoter and supporter of school bond and millage issues and was instrumental in making the construction of the new Charlevoix High School a reality.

Mr. Joseph’s grandparents, father William, sister Marilyn and brother Bill are GHS graduates. He is married and has two children.
