Committees

Technology: This committee makes videos highlighting staff, students and events at GHS.
Community Service (CS): Each year, Senate chooses a charity to support. This committee organizes fundraising events for the charity.
Student Assemblies (SA): This committee plans spirit week and awareness assemblies throughout the year.
Public Relations (PR): PR makes posters to put up around the school to inform students.
Recycling: In 2007, GHS started recycling paper and plastic bottles. Each teacher has a recycling bin in his or her classroom, and there are bins in the hallways as well. The Student Senate members empty the recycling bins into a trailer, and then it is unloaded at the recycling center.
