About Grayling Elementary School

Grayling Elementary strives to provide a first-class educational experience to elementary children in GE Sproutkindergarten through fifth grade. In addition to curriculum and programming that has proven results, GES offers children instruction in music and instrumentation, band, physical education and Spanish. GES also values the use of technology, with Smartboards and document cameras in every instructional setting including music, a minimum of six iPads in every classroom (with 27 classrooms at 1:1 iPad access) and two full computer labs.

We also know that “The Sprout"  starts well before kindergarten. GES oversees the CASD Great Start Readiness Program Preschool, as well as housing the community-based Grayling Cooperative Preschool-GSRP (Great Start Readiness Program) and a NEMSCA Head Start Program. As a member of the Crawford County Preschool Partnership, we have a vision for all children to have access to quality early childhood opportunities.
