Welcome

Welcome to my web page. Both students and parents can use this as a reference for the classes I’m teaching in 2006-2007.
First, I have included information telling you a little bit about me and my educational and professional background.
Next, I have homework pages for each class I teach.
Finally, if you would like to send me an e-mail, you can click on that link. If there are other items you would like to see on this web page, please send me an e-mail message with your suggestion.
    Have a great school year!

ADOPT-A-FOREST PROGRAM

Two years ago, CASD School Board Member John Pilon suggested to Mr. Moffit & Hawes that they participate in the Michigan DNR Adopt-A-Forest Program.  In the first year, the GHS Social Studies Classes picked up 60 cubic yards of trash along with several tires, fridges, dishwashers, etc..

In 2005, the Grayling High School 9th Graders picked up 40 yards of trash in two days of cleaning up the woods around GHS.  We had several parents who assisted us with this project.  We would like to thank Ted Wells, Jim Morrow, Gail Ney, Bill Denno, Becky Flaherty, Dennis & Kim Bofysil, Jim Hulbert, Steve Sendek, J. Langowski, Ada Takas [DNR Adopt-A-Forest Coordinator] & Tom [Crawford County Volunteer].

Mr. Hawes & Mr. Moffit stand in front of trash that was picked up in various locations [state land] around Grayling High School.
