About us:
Judi is originally from Bay Village,
Ohio. She graduated from Albion
College with a degree in secondary education, majoring in biology and
English.
She earned a Master’s in Education from CMU, majoring in
gifted/talented education. She has
taught in North Carolina, Alaska, and Lansing.
Judi is currently mentoring another teacher.
She and
her husband Paul have two grown children, Lesleigh and Greg.
Judi loves biking, aerobics, and reading.
Lori is originally from Houghton Lake. She graduated from CMU with a degree in elementary education/special education. She has taught for 20 years in CASD, at both Frederic Elementary and Grayling Middle School. Lori is currently chair of the Special Education team and chair of the Student Assistance Team. She is married to Bill and has two daughters, Laura and Ciara, in Crawford-AuSable Schools.
Carrie grew up in Georgia, but spent summers in
Grayling with her extended family. Her
Bachelor’s Degree is in Biology and Chemistry from Lake Superior State.
Her first Master’s Degree is in Biology, from Eastern Michigan.
Her second Master’s Degree in Education, from Lake Superior State.
In the summer of 1997, Carrie worked at the Minnesota Zoo teaching in the
zoo program. In the fall of 1999,
she worked in Kentucky in the
Grouse Restoration Program. It was
here that
she realized she wanted to teach full time, so she returned to
Lake State for her teaching credentials. Carrie
did her student teaching at GMS with Judi Mesack.
Carrie is currently Chair of the Science Department.
Carrie’s extended family is in Grayling and Jackson, Michigan.
