Mr.
Brown has been a member of AuSable Primary's team
since 2001. He lives in Grayling with his lovely
wife Renee and their three children Jacob, Jocelyn,
and Alison. What Mr. Brown likes best about his
job is being able to share the world of music
with the students (he especially likes the annual
concerts which allow the children to enjoy and
demonstrate all that they have learned in music
class!). Mr. Brown's favorite childrens
book is "Mr. Brown Can Moo, Can You?".

Brunell

Chris
has been a member of AuSable Primary's team for
since 1989. She lives in Grayling with her husband, Paul, and her children, Jenny, Rachel and Jeff. She has one cat and one hamster. What Chris likes best about her job is being a part of a child's learning to read. Chris' favorite children's book is If You Give a Mouse a Cookie by Laura Joffe Numeroff.

Patricia Coger
Speech Language Pathologist
Tricia
has been at AuSable Primary since it opened in
1996. She worked with preschool students also
until 2003 when she began at AP full time. Tricia
lives in Gaylord with her husband Jerry. The thing
that she likes best about speech therapy is watching
children blossom as their speech and language
improves. Her favorite children's story is "The
Day the Goose Got Loose" by Steven Kellog.

Jackie Fry
Title I Teacher
Jackie Fry has been a member of AuSable Primary's team since 1999. She lives in Gaylord with her husband, Scott, and their children, Ben and Anna. What Jackie likes most about her job is that she gets to work with all of the students and teachers in second grade doing her two favorite things: Reading and Writing! Jackie's favorite children's book is Wild Child by Lynne Plourde.

Cathy Hilbrecht

Cathy
Hilbrecht has been a member of AuSable Primary's
team since 2003-2004 school year, and part of
CASD since the fall of 2000. She lives in Grayling
with her husband and 3 sons (Jimmy, Mathew and
John), and their black lab Pal. What Cathy likes
best about her job is the satisfaction of helping
preschoolers and their parents understand each
other better. Cathy's favorite children's book
is Click, Clack, Moo...Cows that Type.

Larry
J. Mead has been a member of AuSable Primary's
team since 2003. He lives in Higgins Lake
with his wife Betsy and son Maddox. What Larry likes best about his
job is motivating young people to lead an active
lifestyle. Larry's favorite childrens book
is The Little Engine that Could.

Occupational Therapist
Jill Snider has been a member of AuSable Primary's team since 2005. She lives in Grayling with her husband, Tom and daughters, Katie & Hannah and black lab, Blake. What Jill likes best about her job is working with students to help them gain the skills they need to be successful in school. Jill's favorite children's book is The Pokey Little Puppy.

Brenda Vaughan
Special Education Teacher
Brenda
has been a member of AuSable Primary's team since
it was build. She has been a staff member
since 1991. She lives in Roscommon with her
husband Mike and her children Kody, Avery,
Bradley, and Annie. Her daughter Allyson is
off to college. What Brenda likes best about
herjob is watching the kids learn and grow from
year to year and getting to know the families of
the children she works with. Brenda's
favorite children's book is The Day The Babies Ran
Away. She also loves anything by Dr. Seuss!

Janet Stevens
Special Education Teacher
Janet
has been a teacher consultant at AuSable Primary
since 2002, and has been with the Crawford AuSable
School District since 1989. She lives in
Grayling with her husband Jack, their daughter
Jordyn and their son Jonathon. What Janet
likes best about her job is the strong interschool
collaboration between the special needs support
services and the general education teachers.
Janet's favorite children's book is Mexicali Soup
by Kathryn Hitte and William Hayes. She
adores all of Tomie DePaolo's work, too!

Gretchen Walsh
Occupational Therapist
Gretchen has been a teacher consultant at AuSable Primary since April 2006. She lives in Grayling with her husband Wally and her three sons: Roger, David, an Andrew. They have a dog named Adharo and a cat names Temporary. What Gretchen likes best about her job is seeing all th ekids grow and learn and how well the sataff works together in the best interest of the children. Gretchen's favorite children's book is Is Your Mama a Llama?
