Karyn has been with the district since 1992 and has previously taught 2nd and 3rd grade. She is a Grayling native and lives here with her husband Joe, son Nick and daughter Hannah. She likes her job becuase each day is new and exciting in the eyes of a four year old. She also likes being able to work closely with their families. Teaching is a very rewarding profession. She has many favorite children's books and it's hard to choose just one, but a family favorite is Clay Boy.
