Pam Alexander
1st Grade Teacher

Pam Alexander has been a member of AuSable Primary's team since it opening in 1996 She lives in Grayling with her husband Rich and son Peter. Her oldest son is a sophmore in college. What Pam likes best about her job is teaching reading and writing. Pam is an avid reader and hopes to instill a love of books in all the children she works with.

Jessica Barth
1st Grade Teacher

Jessica has been a member of AuSable Primary's team since 2003. She lives in Grayling with her two cats, Mia and Zaira. What Jessica likes best about her job is getting to witness the learning process happen on a day to day basis. Jessica's favorite children’s book is M is for Mitten by Annie Applegate because she loves Michigan and Michigan history.

Heidi Lingaur
1st Grade Teacher

Heidi Lingaur has been a member of AuSable Primary's team since 2005. She lives in Gaylord with her two fish Squirt and Speedy, and her puppy Sadie. Miss Lingaur became a proud Aunt in August 2006; she now has a niece named Brynn. What Miss Lingaur likes best about her job is working with an amazing staff, and having the opportunity to share the joys of learning with her students. Miss Lingaur's favorite children’s book is Ish; it encourages its readers with a new perspective on the world.

Mary Jane Helvie
1st Grade Teacher

Mary Jane Helvie has been a member of AuSable Primary's team since 2002. Before coming north, she taught many years downstate. She lives north of Higgins Lake with her husband Larry and their black lab, Sam. What Mary Jane likes best about teaching is the spark of excitment children show when they are learning something new. Mary Jane's favorite children's author is Tomie dePaola.
