Nicole M. (Gingerich) FergusonNicole Gingerich was in the top ten of her graduating class, was editor of the yearbook and played on the junior varsity basketball and junior varsity softball teams. During high school, she was a Youth for Understanding exchange student to New Zealand.

She attended Central Michigan University where she earned a bachelor of science degree in 1998 and a doctor of audiology degree in 2002. While at CMU, she was granted the American Foundation of Audiology fellowship for 1998-99 and was named CMU's gerontology student of the year.

Dr. Ferguson was an audiology intern in Seattle, Washington, served her audiology residency in Tawas City, Michigan, and is currently working as an audiologist in Saginaw, Michigan.

She is the president of the Saginaw Area Jaycees, the area representative for the Youth for Understanding International Exchange Program, a member of the CMU Tri-Cities Alumni Chapter and on the board of directors for the Center for Independent Living of Mid-Michigan.

She married Kip Ferguson in February 2003.
