Horse Plop Raffle |
| The Class of 2011 is currently selling tickets for its first ever Horse Plop Raffle. The event will take place before the home football game on Friday, September 11. Tickets are being sold for $10 each or 3 for $20. On the 11th, the GHS softball field will be painted with a grid of squares and a matching grid will be put on paper. A horse will be turned loose on the field to wander and do its business. Once the horse "plops", it will be led off the field. Tickets will be drawn and matched to squares on the paper grid until the dirty square is assigned. The person with the winning square will receive 40% of our ticket sales. If all tickets are sold, the winner will get between $1,300 and $2,000. Tickets will be drawn for the 2nd and 3rd place winners of $150 and $50. Everyone is welcome to come out to the softball field to watch the horse "plop" and tailgate before the game. Anyone interested in purchasing tickets should contact Teresa Bonamie at 989-344-3512. |
