Charity
This year's charity is the Christian Help Center/The
Food Bank. It is located at the Frederic School is entering its second
year of operation. We are funded completely by local donations and served
over 220 different families on a regular basis last season. We are open
every Monday from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and every family in Crawford
County who has a child attending our schools, from pre-school through
fifth grade, are eligible to receive a box of assorted groceries every
other week to supplement their family's food budget. We greatly appreciate
the support of the G.H.S. Student Senate; their contribution is making a
positive difference in the lives of hundreds of children in our community. |
