Co-Curricular Activities Membership Eligibility

All students desiring to participate in co-curricular activities must meet the eligibility criteria established by the Crawford AuSable School District (and the Michigan High School Athletic Association in the case of athletics). Every participant must:
         A. Be regular in school attendance. Skipping during a season may result in disciplinary action which could include suspension from participation in an activity. A minimum suspension of one contest date will be imposed for activities scheduled for five dates or more, such as athletics, forensics, etc.
         B. Pass all of their classes with D- or above at the end of the last marking period or semester, whichever is most recent. The only exception to this is that a student failing one class at the end of the marking period or semester is placed on probation and tracked until the next interim report is submitted. If students are failing any class at interims, they are no longer eligible to participate in co-curricular activities and are then ineligible until the next marking period or semester grades are reported.
