Scientific Method

Demonstration: In this type of project, students pose a question and set about showing how something works. In planning this type of project, students need to address :
  • What (it is)
  • Why (is it important)
  • When (under what conditions)
  • Who (would benefit)
  • Where (under what conditions)
  • How ( it works)

Examples of Demonstration projects:
How does hydropower work?
What is a wind turbine?
How does solar power work?
How does electricity work?
What is solar energy?
How is food digested?
How does sound travel?
What is white light?
What are the layers of the earth?
Why is the sky blue?
etc.

The above format would also work with student inventions:

Can I build a better mouse trap?
Can I build an alarm system?
etc.
