Dear Parent or Guardian,
Welcome to Grayling Elementary
School! As the parent of a student new to our district, I'm sure you
will have many questions regarding your child's education and you
will be given several items to assist you in the enrollment process.
Likewise, as your child enters Grayling Elementary School, you will
be asked to provide documentation necessary for enrollment.
The following items must be presented before your child will be
officially enrolled and allowed to begin school:
- Birth certificate (child's
name must match the legal name on the document and it must be an
official copy)
- Immunization record
(immunizations must be current before beginning school)
- Proof of residency (
driver's license, utility bill, rental receipt, etc. )
- Proof of custody (required
if child does not live with both parents)
If your child has received
assistance with speech or special education or has any medical
concerns that may affect his/her daily routine or ability to
participate in specific activities, please notify us so we may take
this into consideration when placing your child.
